When tasked with creating luxury tube packaging for Disney’s 50th anniversary celebrations, Luxury Tube Packaging, a specialist division of Magellan, proudly accepted the challenge.

The goal was clear: design luxury printed tubes that perfectly encapsulated the essence of Disney’s brand — enchanting, timeless, and premium. The final result exceeded all expectations, capturing the Disney magic while offering durable, high-end printed cardboard tubes worthy of the celebration.

We produced 500 custom butted tubes with precision-engineered rolled ends to prevent paper peeling and maintain structural integrity, essential for maintaining the luxury look over time. These cylinder packaging designs were tailored to securely house delicate merchandise — a beautiful glass bottle filled with twinkling lights — created especially for Disney’s 50th-anniversary festivities.

Each tube box was sized to perfection, with an internal diameter of 80mm and a height of 280mm, ensuring both protection and a snug, elegant fit for the limited-edition items. The robust construction, combined with thoughtful attention to details, created an unforgettable unboxing experience for fans and collectors alike.

The durability and finish of the tubes reinforced the Disney brand’s commitment to quality, creating an emotional connection from the first moment customers laid eyes on the packaging.

Full Customisation – A True Reflection of Disney Magic

Every element of these bespoke custom tube packaging pieces was designed to mirror Disney’s iconic branding. Full CMYK custom printing wrapped the entirety of the tubes, paired with a sleek matt lamination to protect the vivid artwork while offering a soft, luxurious touch.

Special highlights included the use of metallic ink to recreate the shimmering brilliance associated with Disney’s magical world. To further enrich the visual narrative, four different designs were incorporated — allowing distinct stories to unfold across the top and bottom of each tube.

Attention to detail extended to the lids and bases, where the classic Walt Disney logo was proudly displayed. This complete, 360-degree branding approach solidified the tubes not just as protective packaging, but as collectible keepsakes — a celebration of Disney’s enduring legacy.
